Last week all students in Years 5-7 joined in a special day called Growth Mindset Day. The best part of growth mindset day was with Mr Colagrossi, so i am going to tell you what happened.
First we learnt how to say the alphabet in sign language and I learnt how to say my name in sign language. We went over and over it because every one kept messing up including me.
When we all got it right we played a game called the long plank. What we had to to was separate into two groups and each get 3 long planks. 2 of the planks could only have 5 students on them and 1 could on only have 4 on. So what you have to do is try to get to the other side with out touching the ground and if you do you have to start from the very beginning so many people kept touching the floor.
The teams on the other side did really good and we all tried are best. We had so much fun. We had ball.
Unfortunately my team did not win but we did a really got gob working as a team and we also tried our best.
After that we when back into the class room and we cleaned up and packed up and went home.
If you were wondering? I was in the emu group with my friend Nicholas.
